Happy Monday and Happy Easter!
I hope you all had a fabulous Easter weekend with your loved ones. I had such a great weekend and I feel energized to start the new week. On Saturday we all woke up early, made a big breakfast and went on a long hike up and around Bell Rock. We then came home and planted flowers, had lunch outside and played bocce ball. It was so nice outside, I even got a little sunburned! I love spending the weekends outdoors, especially with the weather we’ve had lately. Easter Sunday was also a wonderful day. We started the day by going to church and the service was absolutely amazing (as always) and was the perfect start to the day. We then came home and I baked and cooked with my mom all day, which is always one of my favorite things to do. My mom is such a great cook and always teaches me so many useful tips and tricks while cooking. We made prime rib, corn, mashed potatoes, rolls, and asparagus. The food was all so good, I’m still full, just kidding! I also made a homemade cheesecake, which was a huge success! I used thin mints and graham crackers as the crust and used heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar and cream cheese for the filling. I topped the cheesecake with cherries and it was a huge hit. Anyways, today I am sharing my Easter look with all of you and I am so excited! I bought this Lilly Pulitzer dress in January during the Lilly sale, but waited until now to finally rip the tags off, yay! I love the bright colors and this dress had the perfect Easter/spring pattern. I paired the dress with my favorite denim jacket (it’s on sale) and all of my favorite accessories.
